Olsen Concrete is a concrete restoration company. Our rule is simple: restore first, replace only when the concrete truly can’t be saved. Most cracked, stained, uneven or worn concrete can be repaired for a fraction of the cost of tearing it out, and we will tell you straight when it can’t.

How we decide: repair, resurface or replace
- Repair when the damage is local: cracks, chips, spalls, trip lips, broken step edges.
- Resurface when the surface is worn everywhere but the slab is still solid and sits level.
- Clean and seal when the concrete is sound and just dirty, stained or unprotected.
- Replace (only the failed sections where possible) when panels rock, have sunk or heaved, or the base underneath has failed.

Questions we get asked
What does a concrete restoration company do?
We repair and renew existing concrete instead of replacing it: crack and spall repair, trip hazard removal, step repair, resurfacing, deep cleaning and sealing. We replace only the sections that cannot be saved.
Is it cheaper to repair concrete than replace it?
Usually, yes. Repairs, resurfacing and cleaning skip the demolition, haul-off and new pour. When panels have sunk, heaved or the base has failed, replacement of just those sections is the honest fix, and we will say so.
