Olsen Concrete breaks out and removes concrete: driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, steps, pads, footings and curbs, for homes and businesses across King, Snohomish, Skagit and Pierce County. We saw-cut clean edges, remove the concrete, haul it away and leave the area ready for the next step, whether that is a new pour, pavers, landscaping or gravel.

How we do it
- Mark utilities: we call 811 for underground utility locates before we dig or break concrete.
- Saw-cut: clean, straight cut lines protect the concrete that stays.
- Break out and load: with the right size equipment for the access, protecting lawns, fences and siding.
- Haul away: the concrete and debris leave the site the same day where possible.
- Grade and prep: if we are pouring new concrete, we rebuild and compact the base first. Base failure is the most common reason concrete fails.
Before you demolish: can it be saved?
We are a restoration company first. Before we quote a tear-out, we look at whether repairs, resurfacing or a deep clean and seal would do the job for less. When replacement is the right call, see new concrete pours and driveway replacement.
Questions we get asked
Do you haul the concrete away?
Yes. Removal includes loading and hauling the broken concrete and debris off site. Clean concrete is taken for recycling where a recycler is available.
Can you remove just part of a driveway or patio?
Yes. We saw-cut along clean lines and remove only the failed sections, so the good concrete stays in place.
Do you pour new concrete after demolition?
Yes. We can rebuild and compact the base and pour a new driveway, patio, walkway or slab, or leave the area ready for pavers or landscaping.
